Residential MLS Changes

November 2025

Important Update Regarding MyCAAR.com

Solid Earth, the vendor for the public residential search engine MyCAAR.com, has recently migrated the site to an updated version. Unfortunately, it has come to our attention that as part of this migration, existing accounts and associated data (including saved searches) were not transferred to the new platform and cannot be restored.

Effective Wed., Dec. 31st, 2025, the CAAR Board of Directors has decided to permanently sunset MyCAAR.com. We will move the Find a REALTOR® tool to CAAR.com.

If you have been using MyCAAR.com with your clients, we strongly recommend transitioning them to the Paragon Collaboration Center within the Paragon residential MLS platform to ensure a smooth and seamless experience moving forward.

Effective Mon., Nov. 10th - Coming Soon Listings & Syndication Data Feed Change

Effective Mon., Nov. 10th, the CAAR MLS Rules & Regulations Committee and the CAAR Board of Directors have chosen to allow Coming Soon listings in all of our syndicated data feeds. Subscribers, at the direction of their client, can choose to change the “Include on IDX” field to “No” in the Paragon MLS system.

Here are common frequently asked questions and answers to help you prepare:

What is changing?
Effective Mon., Nov. 10th, the CAAR MLS Rules and Regulations will reflect that Coming Soon listings will automatically be included in all syndicated data feeds.

Can I opt-out my Coming Soon listing from automatically be included in data feeds?
Yes. As with all listings, you will have the ability to not include a Coming Soon listing, as directed by your client, by selecting “No” in the data field “Include on IDX” in the Paragon MLS platform.

If I choose not to include my “Coming Soon” listing in data feeds, will it automatically be included when the listing becomes “Active”?
No. If you want the listing to be included in data feeds after the listing status changes to “Active,” you must manually update your selection to “Yes” in the data field “Include on IDX” in the Paragon MLS system.

Is anything else changing about the Coming Soon policy?
No. The only change to the policy is that Coming Soon listings will automatically be included in syndicated data feeds.

Who authorized this change to the CAAR MLS Rules & Regulations?
The MLS Rules & Regulations Committee recommended the change, and it was approved by the Board of Directors in September 2025.

Effective Tues., Sept. 30th - Multi-Factor Authentication is Coming to the CAAR Single Sign On (SSO) Log-In Process

Effective Tues., Sept. 30th, Clareity will implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) as part of the CAAR Single Sign On (SSO) Dashboard log-in process.

You have likely experienced MFA as part of your online or mobile e-commerce experience.

Here are common frequently asked questions and answers to help you prepare:

What is MFA?
MFA is an authentication method based on a user providing two or more verification factors. These factors are used to prove that you are who you say you are. Verification factors can be broken down into three groups:

  • Something you are: Biometric factors, fingerprint, or facial recognition
  • Something you know: Password
  • Something you have: The temporary code sent to a device that you have like an email, mobile phone (text)

Can I use a Passkey in place of my username and password?
Yes, Passkey with biometric is another option – please download the information packet to learn more.

Why is MFA being implemented?
The goal of MFA is to provide users with secure access. This extra step helps to safeguard all users from disruption or data breach.

When is MFA being implemented?
MFA will be implemented from 3 – 5 a.m. on Tues., Sept. 30th. During this timeframe, the SSO Dashboard will be unavailable.

Will I need to do MFA every time I log into the SSO Dashboard?
No. You will get asked to complete MFA only when a change to your normal login behavior is detected (e.g., new device, different geographical location – different country or state, etc.).

How long is a MFA code good for?
The code is good for 20 minutes.

If I select MFA via email, what email address will the MFA code be sent from?
The email will be from do-not-reply@cotality.com.

How can I check the email address and mobile phone I currently have on file?
On the on the SSO Dashboard, click your initials in the top right corner, “User tools.” Then “View Profile”, your username, current email, and mobile phone will be displayed.

Who should I contact if I need to update my email address or mobile phone?
Email CAAR Support Team (support@caar.com).
