Pat Jensen Leadership Academy

CAAR Past President Pat Jensen (2002) was a tremendous REALTOR®, Broker, Association President, leader, and REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) advocate. As a tribute to her legacy, the Board established the Pat Jensen Leadership Academy in 2017.
Purpose
The Academy is intended to foster knowledge and encourage further movement of volunteers into additional leadership roles in the REALTOR® organization at the local, state, and national level.
Application Process

Participants of the Leadership Academy shall have demonstrated:

1) Involvement in CAAR, Virginia REALTORS® and/or National Association of REALTORS® events

-OR-

2) Participation as a volunteer a CAAR Committee, Council, or Project Team

Thurs., Nov. 14th, 9 – 10:30 a.m., Hillsdale Conference Center | Introduction of the 2024 – 2025 Pat Jensen Leadership Academy class during the November General Membership & Annual Business Meeting

Attendance Policy

As a commitment to the program and fellow participants, PJLA students will:

  • Attend all sessions.
  • Communicate schedule conflicts to the facilitators as far in advance as possible.
  • Participate in make-up work in case of absences. No more than 2 absences will be permitted. (Participants may not be eligible for graduation or have the program count towards Professional Honor Society application credit if more than one session is missed.)
  • Arrive on time and depart only after sessions end.
